I’m a happy, confident, independent woman who could not be described as “petite and bubbly “ and my dodgy knees have seen better days - so long walks are a thing of the past
Approaching 70 I live in Co Durham and have a beautiful static caravan at the Northumberland coast
Twice widowed ( but don’t let that put you off 🙂)
A driver and non smoker I enjoy pottering in the garden, swimming, reading, baking, days out at the coast and going on cruises
I have done quite a bit of travelling, Europe, USA and Canada, Australia and New Zealand to name a few.
I enjoy eating out and having a few drinks with friends..
I like to cook - nothing fancy -just good home cooked meals, and I miss having someone to cook for.
Watching rugby league is one of my favourite things, being a lifelong Rhinos fan.
I quite like watching white ball cricket but not too keen on football.
Films and dramas based on true life are preferable to reality TV or sci fi.
I like a variety of music from ABBA to Meatloaf
An educated , sociable person I like people who can make me laugh and can laugh at themselves, but I don’t like crude or vulgar jokes or people who use swearing as adjectives.
