About him
Hi, my name is Geoff,and i am hoping to find a lady who wants to start a relationship and enjoy good times together.I am a widower of six years and was happily maried to Mary for 52 years before she became ill with cancer and died in October 2019 (one year six days after we lost our beautiful daughter to cancer) I feel now is the time to get back in the land of the living as all our dancing friends keep telling me.
The easy thing is to do nothing,but that is not me, i have a great son and daughter in law and two great grandchildren(young adults) I was an area manager for a large company when i decided i wanted to work for myself and as i had always been a handy man i decided to learn picture framing and in 1988 started my own shop/gallery and the added another shop by then my son was working with me. We decided to close in 2007 as my son wanted to work for NHS. I decided to carry on framing as i enjoyed it and and had a workshop built in my garden which i still do on a part-time basis. I now excercize every morning and think age is a number and you are as old as you feel,i feel younger and love a good laugh and banter.My wife and i would go for lunch at least once a week usually on shopping trips,i have always treated my as alady (which is the way all women should be treated)We always held hands ,and i always ope doors (including the car).In the mid nineties Mary said we should have ballroom dancing lessons(she was always a good mover) and i have to say it was the best thing we ever did,meeting l;ots of like-minded people and all meeting for usually three time a week at dances and twice a year weekends away about 100 of us.I also like theatre,ballet,opera and music, but also enjoy just as much cuddles onthe sofa watching a romantic movie.
