I am a widower, physically active with no health problems (just the odd twinge now and then), plus I have a daft sense of humour. I had a good education, a varied career (now retired) and I am financially comfortable. I live alone in my house in the country with my dog. My interests include astronomy, local history/archaeology, bowls, motorcycling (I also drive a car) and watercolour painting. I feel that I still have much more life to live, places to visit and things to experience.
