I would hope my friends would describe me as being reliable, kind, empathetic, helpful and a good listener. Definitely not needy or a drama queen! I love animals, especially alpacas, dogs and horses, although its been a while since I’ve ridden. I’m retired but undertake voluntary work part time and manage a few rental properties. Walking my dogs keeps me active, as does swimming, tennis and table tennis. I don’t watch endless TV, but keep up with the news and like programmes about travel, property and period dramas. Being an italphile, I’ve been learning Italian for a few years but still far from fluent- more trips to Italy needed! My children have all left home but we meet up as often as possible and I’m always happy when asked to look after the grandchildren.

I’m looking for someone who is firstly a friend to experience all that life has to offer- going to the theatre, meeting up for a coffee or meal, walking the dogs and ending up at a pub for a drink, visiting new places-both at home and abroad, the possibilities are endless!
Ideally a non smoker and also a competent driver please- if I want an adrenaline rush I can visit Alton Towers!
