About her
I'm a freelance classical musician. I'd like to think that I am fun loving, romantic and considerate. Classical music is a big part of me, as well as being my job.
I've sadly never been lucky enough to have my own kids, so my 'baggage' comes in the form of two wonderful working cocker spaniels ('work' represents retrieving balls and soft toys in their case!) I think the world of them, so anyone I meet would need to be a dog lover! I should add that I'm cat allergic, so sadly can't consider a cat owner!
I like cooking - particularly French and Italian style - if you love wicked desserts, that's great, as they're probably what I do best- the naughty side coming to the fore! I've been lucky enough to travel to some exciting places, both through work and on holiday.
Over the past few years, trips to Venice, Cape Town and the Garden Route and Sydney (with a whistle stop tour of NZ's stunning South Island thrown in) have proved especially memorable. I enjoy spending free time in the countryside, and the dogs doesn't allow a day to go by without getting me out of the house for a walk, which is very good for me!
Incidentally, if you're curious about my education box - as ever, my life doesn't seem to fit into boxes!! My university years were spent studying music on a scholarship abroad.
I am amicably divorced - a long long time in the past now. I've met some great people, but not 'the one'. I'm open as to what I'm looking for - if I find a real soulmate that would be terrific, but a great friend to share life's pleasures would be a good alternative!

Someone tall and intelligent who can be serious but has a wicked sense of humour too! A successful professional (ideally with hair, but heh - we're getting older and one can't have it all!) A thoughtful and honest man (and a bit of an old romantic) who knows how to listen but will also stand up to me! Tactile and not afraid to show affection is good.......!
Ideally not too right wing or too left wing or too religious (and if you thought BREXIT was good news, we may not gel!)
We're all looking for that elusive spark and chemistry, so trying to create a tick list seems ridiculously clinical.
As implied in the section above, my career is a vocation as well as being my 'job'. For better and worse - the lives of musicians are rarely 9 - 5. For that reason, I would love to meet someone who can at least understand (and hopefully to some degree share) my love of classical music and support me in my career, as I would hope to support them.
If you would enjoy walking the dog together, watching a romantic sunset, giggling about absolutely nothing and going to the occasional really good concert or theatrical production, then perhaps we should talk? I'd love to cook for you and to share a bottle of good wine with you (though I already have to disappoint and say that I can't drink red, so we may have to have two bottles and a VACUVIN!) and I'd love us to go out and try some great restaurants from time to time as I'm a real foodie! I'd also love to travel more with a soulmate. Where are your favourite holiday destinations?
