I am an optimistic lady who is happy and content with her 'lot' in life. Recently retired from full time work and a lady who remains ambitious in good measure, knows how to relax and yet still looks at life with humour and joire de vivre.
Family is important to me as are my closest friends; they would say I am a great friend with a sense of humour, a friend who listens and always willing to help where she can.
Fun & relaxation - I enjoy board games, walking in nature / by the sea /river or better still in the Alps with those magnificent views that take one's breath away!
I used to play cards but have forgotten but eager to learn again. Cooking and baking are up there for the enjoyment.
My music taste is eclectic, anything from the 60s through to Sinatra, R&B , Soul - really, any music that catches my attention with its' beat & rhythm.
I don't really have any dealbreakers all except one, and that is Smoking
I am comfortable in my own imperfect skin and strong enough in myself to deeply love and support another.
