About her
My mind often wanders off to places that don’t exist, where everything is perfect and everyone is wonderful. But I am a bit more realistic than that and can be very down to earth when I need to be. Although I am quite gregarious, I am very independent and prefer the company of just one person over a large group. A good lengthy conversation is always a highlight for me. The silliest of things can make me laugh but I don't like mockery or too much sarcasm.
I am interested in many things but I do have a great passions for classical music in particular. Although as a teenager I dreamed of being a musician, I never got close but that never diminished my love for music. I do sing in a choir and always look forward to challenging works we are given to learn.
I have been lucky enough to have travelled the world both for work and pleasure but I feel that there is still so much more to see.
As a morning person I like to get up early and go for a walk before my day starts. I always get the chores out of the way so that I can then relax and spend the rest of the days doing a variety of things such as playing the piano, watching an unusual film or preparing a dinner for my friends.
My parents were both Italian but I was born in London where I grew up. I did spend a few years in Italy and became fluent in the language which I now teach. I also learnt how to appreciate food and cook which led me to exploring cuisines from all over the world.
Sport I have very little interest in watching and perhaps even less interest in doing any but I do exercise by walking as well as doing aquafit and Pilates every week. And I like to dance.
And finally, I like cats although I don’t have any but I really do not get on with dogs.
